CPR [07/14/09]   *poke poke* is my blog still alivvve?? heeeee... ok yes this is by far not even close to mia and this blog is officially on the brink of death.. i am CLEAR of that!  i have been NAAGGED!!! (and i seriously mean nagged!!!) by the bf to blog for the past two weeks using alll sorts of methods including incentives, tantrums, pleading, soft ways, hard ways and the list goes on to post up some BEAUTIFUL pictures of the best best best week we had after exams using the wonderful camera he got me.  unfortunately...... that will not be up in this post because its 1:30am and i need to get my butt to bed or I'll be dragging myself to class tomorrow and drooling all over my notes again.... BUT it is impt that i post up something and also to tell everyone who still reads this blog (the numbers are dwindling, i understand that) that my winter course does end tomorrow and hence I should be able to set aside some time from my assignment and exam sessions to post up my beautiful pictures of the best places i've ever been.  ok i'm off to bed. and just a quick shout out to the naggy bf! more updatttesssss [03/08/09]   Hi my dears ! omg, there are still ppl reading my blog.. i feel loved ! hehehe I LOVE U ! ok so with my NEW CAMERA !!! *jang jang jannnng * i've been taking so many pictures of my other wonderful endeavours... hehehe... ok i think i'm high... so just to step back in time for abit.. here's what i've been up to the last four days :D so firstly a big shout out to my dearest bf! who brought me immediately to the store to replace my tremblng camera after the previous entry (and paid somemore !!! *melts*)... heeee.. oh btw i got the fujfilm F100 and its awesome!LOOOOVE! there is a mode to allow u to take pics that make ur skin look much fairer and smoother its just cool! MUACX! the first pic i took with my brand new cam jolly can be emo too !! thurs : NASI LEMAK DAY! i haven't taken pics of my tonkatsu for jap night on wed but thurs was a special nasi lemak night !! heeee... all was pretty ok although the chilli needed less belachan! :D sat : wj house warming party ! vivers came over and i borrowed her deep fryer... it was so absolutely awesome ! her nice and crunchy nuggets and fish fingers! i made my brocolli and cauliflower salad.. its supppose to be like a sald trifle with layers but the cauliflower didn't come out that evident.... heee bacon is essential !!! hehehehe... yuuuum i looked weird .... hehehe.. i guess its the cooking before the party.. hehehe   today: i had some amazing pictures of my kefalograviera cheese sandwich i made today but for some reason the file was corrupted... so worried pls! lucky i still had some pics of.... MY HOMEMADE ROAST PORK! heeeee.... the bf thought it was good.. HAPPY ! but the recipe only asked for a 30 m in marination.. i think it should be longer... its always much longer to cook chinese food.. sigh ! oh wellz... i'll try it again nxt time and make sure i make the respective changes.. hehehe.. hehehe... ok then.. that's about all !!!! bye kids !  Read (9) Comment

Quick updates [03/05/09] HELLO! I don't really know who I'm hello-ing to anymore cuz my blog goes into constant standstill mode and i totally understand why people decide to just dlt my blog add off their favs.... so to those remaining ppl... I LOVE U BTW! just some quick updates on my beauuutiful life back here in lalaland! So much have happened I cant even remember them all.. 1. I've been cooking quite abit ! hehehe... I've tried quite a few things recently - carrot cake (chinese version) with yingyi - japanese night tonight (curry tonkatsu with rice and chawanmushi and miso soup) - attempting nasi lemak tmr ! (from scratch ! including making the sambal lo ! worries) - etc such as chicken cordin bleu from previous attempts. 2. I've joined pilates/exercise/boxing class!!! omg right ! i did get off my ass and signed up for the class with the sis, vivian and szelin(newly joining)... its ok la..SUUUPER near my place - its basically downstairs- and its once per week and with so many exercise buddies ESP THE SIS ! i dont think i'll be procrastinating and continue to be lazy... hhehehe 3. I have a PIMPED OUT KITCHEN ! so from previous entry, I've received a blender/whisker/food processer combo from the bf recently for valentines... in addition to my appliances, there is the hot electric thermos that i brought from spore and a new sandwich maker and a new ice making machine for my sis and and....... WAIT FOR IT .... . . . . . . WAIT FOR ITTT . . . . . . . .. . . . . A BRAND NEW SET OF KNIIIIVES!!!! ommmmg !! i love love love love love love my new set of knives to DEATH ! I am this close to naming each individual knives.. hehehe... there was once i hit the knife accidentaly on the basin and immediately started saying sorry to it.. hehe.. my sis and mz thought i was crazy ! its a natural reaction ! CHECK THAT OUUUUT !!! *beams beams beams* and not to mention, scanpan is an aweeesome brand so this is sold at $599 in stores and i bought it at a HUUUUGE discount at $199..... im so happy !!! hehehehe... you literally can slice through meat like paper !!! i love my kitchen <3 4. school masters is pretty crappy... the intake is extremely small and i have to take an ACCOUNTING sub... god help me! plus i have a lecturer that spent 30 mins talking about ants ! LORD! but that i'm putting at the back of my mind at the moment cuz i'm still in a holiday mood ! heee 5.last but not least, CAMERA! so my camera is startin to get really tremblish... not surprised at all due to my beloved camera-inclined hennypooks ! hehehe.. i was just waiting for my camera to tremble out of control before i get a new one... so anyways, i checked out the price of a canon ixus 870 here(the highly recommended cam by hennypooks) and ITS CHEAPER !!! hehehe... compared to this place in marina that hen recommended.. i'm glad i waited ! weeheee... i have decided that if i finally get this cam, i'll take a pic of all the meals that i make and put it up on my blog ( i know right, my blog is turning into a foodblog.) i know right ! p.s of course if anyone feels so bogged down by the extra cash in their wallet.. you can always contribute to my next "pimp out fel's kitchen" taret :P:P:P how sexy is that ! ok i'v blabbered on for too long... byyye Read (7) Comment

Happy V Day! ... and some updates [02/17/09] Hallo !! I am back in lalaland ... hehe... love it ! Its been three days since I've been back and its all still surreal... hehehe... so anyways.. just some quick updates... 1. Jolly is hoooommmee!!! THe kennel wanted to help him along during the heatwave... so they gave him a really short haircut ! hehe.. they literally shaved him ! my dog looked like he came home from ns ! hhehe... and he looks absollutely like a chihuahua now.. like seriously ! parish hilton tinkerbell kind.... 2. Most memorable vday ever ! I had the greatest vday! which makes the midnight flight and tiresome body clock issues all worth it ! I was sound asleep when i woke up to my vday present no.1 (of course, i insisted on washing up and changing before im willing to stand in front of the camera) and then there's my vday present no.2 ! i havent taken a pic of it so that shall be tba for the mean time kk.. hehe.. but it was the most wonderful present ! haha... a trio of juicer, blender and food processer to contribute to the 'pimp fel's kitchen' project... that's enough to send one's heart racing eh? finally, i was brought to my vday present no. 3 Brighton savoy hotel right across the beautiful brighton beach. I LOVE beaches !!! view from my room finally... it was my turn to give presents ! the simple story outline.... i received this on my bdae... it came in three different tiffany boxes now I'll attempt to give my response to the best gift I ever receive (I think he liked it :p) went across to walk along the beach some shots of the beach(check out some of my artistic shots !) altering the horizon.... CHECK THAT OUT ! (thats a piece of seaweed on the floor... LOVVVE IT !) I call this 'journey of life' hehehe.... act artistic right? :p i was pretending to take pics of these dogs.. the owner realised !!! and she stopped to ask me if i wanted to take pics of them properly.. hehehe *blush* so cute right?! the perfect setting to take pics of my sexy new phone so we were STARVING ! and immediatly went back to the hotel to grab some food... it was HEAVENLY ! like seriously !!!! i will definately go back to have dinner or sth.. its THAT good food shots !!! (warning : you will salivate ) appetiser the BEST calamari ever ! wonderfully seasoned ! this is the single most wonderful dish ever ! grilled cheese on toast with mushrooms and salad that was absolutely splendid !!!! i wanna go back just for this now mains this was not bad but the mash was heavenly ! fresh fresh seafood ! yum dessert the simplest dish is always the nicest apple strudel for a nice end to the best meal evaaaaaa after dinner, managed to catch sunset and a had a quiet peaceful vday night sky with orange glimmer it turned a beautiful red .... i love nature ! after a sweet dream... we headed off to st kilda for a nice and tradational brekkie! i feel loved and pampered... thank you be for the best vday ever !    Comment

NIAN GAO DAY [01/25/09] hello.... i have been doing so many nian gao today i can just faint if i see another nian gao.. but anyways... im doing a tribute to all the wonderful food blogs i've been reading for all the delicious recipes !! how to make nian gao ? step 1: stir in brown sugar into boiling water   step 2: sift glutinous rice flour and timsum flour   step 3 : stir in one tbs of coconut milk into the sugar liquid and stir the mixture into the sifted flour slowly   step 4: stir until all ingredients are well blended together   step 5: pour into your chosen mould and steam for an hour   TADAAAAAH! simple isn't it???? :P Read (1) Comment

My new purchase [01/22/09] Bought to things Im extremely excited about 1. Happiness is in the air [01/16/09] HELLO!!! Despite all my mumbling and grumbling, things have been sorted out and Im mostly thankful for the wonderful gift I received in my email two days ago !! hehehe... -clearly i cut out things that ppl don't need to see- I've been looking through my offer to upgrade from three. Its really exciting cause i can get a new phone for free! Its like th typical ks attitude righ... if its free, just get it! Esp when its a phoooone!!! That's alot of $$$ saved. hehehe.. I've had my eyes on the Nokia e71... i think its really pretty and there have been rave reviews from many sites I checkd out.. I'm thinking of getting the white... Its something differen and not so solemn... what do u think?? pretty ??? omg i'm so excited to go back to melbourne! I just have a life there and I miss lil jolls to death ! goodness.... Can't wait..... But its all good.. patience is a virtue.. I'm baaaackkkkk [01/08/09] It feels so weird to be looking at this layout that has become disturbingly unfamiliar and to be typing an entry after so long. Just to remind myself in the future when i read my entries.... some quick updates! so its 2009! i could remember vaguely when i was in primary school, i would count the number of days to the closest holiday just like my brother does and be disheartened when i have an actual figure as it seemed so far away. Nowadays, time just zips pass and I have no clue what happened during those hours!!! First impt thing.... I'VE GRADUATED! woohoooo!!! shockingly, i didnt' enjoy my graduation as much as many others who i believe is glad that the torture of exams and the smell of books are now well on their way to disrupt the lives of freshmen and KIDS! hahaha.. we're adults now (yea right!) and many of my dearest friends have taken the truly adult path and will be starting their careers! (of which i will be knocking on your door in few years time yea?? GRIN) Second thing.... its my twenty second birthday ! Goodness I'm old! For the first time, it actually dawned upon me that no matter how my life is, I will be getting older day by day and no matter how i spend the time, I will never be getting it back ! I'm increasingly determined to stop wasting my life being unhappy and really try my very hardest to make the best of everything (this including lying around btw, if you enjoy doing it, time IS NOT WASTED!) Also, I was actually embarressed when they brought the birthday cake with the ACCURATE number of candles on it ! I'm really getting old what's an entry without some pictures   THE GIFTS My bro, sis and shi han bought me the dior wallet i sooo absolutely loooooved since forever! I'll take a pic of it soon so you can swoon over it like i do. I literally polish it like every two seconds.. hahaha Darling was sooooo sweet.... When I opened my eyes and saw exactly this, I was blown away by the number of boxes. They all came together to be a charm bracelet and each charm can be worn as a pendant. The perfect accessory AND the perfect way for me to keep them intact.   Hands down... best presents I've gotten in YEARS! MUACX! love you guys The last thing to significant in life.... masters degree. I've applied for masters in melboure uni end of october and I have yet to receive a response TILL TODAY! this so absolutely ridiculous I'm so tempted to stab someone in the neck ! (he'll be a staff in melb uni) I've been extremely affected by this that when I do deal with the school for abit, I find myself blabbering uncontrollably about it for the rest of the day... wanting nothing but reassurance that I really don't have. I don't mean to be blabbering again but I believe people have forgotten about my blog after so long so I'll continue..... I try not to bring this matter up as much as possible to prevent the constant wondering and discussions i pull people into with absolutely no substance at all ! Gargh! But I am so fed up with the school not only for messing up my application but for the fact that they won't even do anything (like speed up the process) since they've done me wrong in the first place ! I'm so scared for so many reasons but the bottom line is I'm scared to my very soul that I'll be rejected, despite the reason.
